In August 1986, after graduating from the Business School of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada, David McCullough began researching inventory control systems in the Hospitality Industry. He left his new job to form a company that developed and designed a software and scale system used to monitor liquor and wine shrinkage in bars and restaurants.
Mr. McCullough sold the very first systems of this kind in Canada in early 1987. After immediate success with liquor controls, his clients urged him to provide draft beer controls as well since it made sense to deal with one company for both liquor and draft controls. The revolutionary DraftChecker was introduced in 1990 after 18 months of development.
Fifteen years later, after many hardware and software upgrades, mostly suggested by loyal customers, Mr. McCullough still provides state of the art products to some of the largest chains and smallest independent operators in the hospitality industry. Research and development is constantly ongoing, with exciting, revolutionary products to come in the near future. |
